This area is considered one of the most interesting in the Alps. Also, during Summer, you have the possibility to visit the famous „Summer games“ of Bregenz.

Der Fischbestand besteht ausschliesslich aus Bachforellen (kein künstlicher Besatz). Fly fishing for brook trout

The fishing area comprehends the Leckenbach (3-5 m wide) – fast to wild waters – on a 7km stretch before the German border till the Bolgenach and the 4 ha large Lecknerlake. Fishing includes mainly river trout's (no artificial items). Max 4 fishing permits per day are issued.

With comfortable bedrooms and Junior suits, one bathing center with Sauna, Steam bath, Solarium, Whirlpool or Massage, after a successful fishing day, the Das Schiff is for anglers and guests a relaxing oasis for spirit and soul. The Haubenrestaurant with its 14 Gault&Millau Points including a cheese cellar, will put you and your stomach in the right and delicious setting of the Bregenzer forest.
