The areas close to Harbour Club Villas are great for self guided Bonefishing. Two lakes, Flamingo and Turtle Lake, plus a beautiful ocean flat. Grab your rod and go when you want to go! Specially for beginners of Bonefishing, Flamingo lake offers a great opportunity to learn to spot, cast and to drill a bonefish. There are large schools of small and mid-size b
onefish. I caught 17 bonefish in four hours near of the Harbour Club Villas and had a lot of fun (for some impressions about Bonefishing enjoy the short video on the left hand side).
West Harbour and Bonefish Bay
For large Bonefish we went to the west end of the island to the West Harbour Bluff / Bonefish Bay. There are miles of bonefish flats for self-guided Bonefishing and it is one of the most beautiful places to stay. On these flats you will find small schools of large bonefish, which are more difficult to spot and to catch. I caught some large bonefish and small barracudas.
